Will the chip completely disappear?

In most cases the chip becomes 70–90% less noticeable. You may still see a faint mark — the real win is stopping it from spreading and restoring the structural integrity of your windshield.

What types of damage can be repaired?

Most rock chips smaller than a quarter can be repaired. Short cracks a few inches long may also be fixable depending on size, location, age, and spread. Damage through both layers or directly in the driver's sightline usually can't be safely repaired.

What affects how the result looks?

The size and depth of the chip, how long it's been there, whether dirt or water got into it, and any previous DIY attempts all play a role. The sooner it's fixed, the better the outcome.

Can my insurance cover it?

Many comprehensive auto policies cover windshield chip repair — often with no deductible. I'd recommend checking with your insurer. You pay me directly and can submit a reimbursement claim with them on your own time.
